Our Mission
Our mission is to to end the cycle of poverty and transform communities by empowering families and youth to succeed in education and achieve lifelong self-sufficiency. While there is no limitation on the family type, historically 90% of Family Scholar House Participants are single mothers with children and 85% of those have experienced trauma from Domestic Violence.

Phoenix Scholar House Breaks Ground
On November 13th, 2024, Save the Family Foundation of Arizona, in partnership with Brinshore Development, celebrated the groundbreaking of the Phoenix Scholar House, an affordable housing community designed for single parents pursuing higher education. The project caught the attention of
Parent Scholar Profile
The FSH family profile is a student parent with at least one minor child. 95% are single mothers. 95% have experienced a form of domestic violence.
Project Location
Up to 60 two and three bedroom units. 1.47 acres located at 2945 and 2958 North 18th Place.
