Our Mission
Our mission is to to end the cycle of poverty and transform communities by empowering families and youth to succeed in education and achieve lifelong self-sufficiency. While there is no limitation on the family type, historically 90% of Family Scholar House Participants are single mothers with children and 85% of those have experienced trauma from Domestic Violence.

Up to 60 two and three bedroom units. 1.47 acres located at 2945 and 2958 North 18th Place.
Parent Scholar Profile
The FSH family profile is a student parent with at least one minor child. 95% are single mothers. 95% have experienced a form of domestic violence.
How does it work?
Family Scholar House’s program includes a pre-residential, residential, and post-residential service platform.
